43-year-old Serena Starkey has been charged with murder in Alabama after her 13-year-old son, Aston Starkey, was found dead due to malnutrition and dehydration in a hotel room in March. The charges were elevated to homicide on June 7th after detectives presented case information to the Shelby County District Attorney's Office. Starkey remains at large and police are attempting to locate her.
