68-year-old John Broomhead from Aintree, Merseyside, suffered a terrifying big cat attack while extinguishing a barbecue during a caravan trip to Tansley, Derbyshire in July 2022. He recalls the "huge" animal, believed to be three or four times the size of a regular cat, lunging at him. The traumatic event has left Broomhead with nightmares to this day.
