32-year-old Meath man, Graham McGuinness, pleaded guilty to causing serious harm to another man in Dublin city centre in 2020. Initially charged with attempted murder and producing a homemade shank, McGuinness pleaded guilty to the charge of causing serious harm during a brief hearing. The Director of Public Prosecutions accepted the plea, and a jury was not required.
