The University of Nebraska will address its $11.8m budget shortfall via tuition increases of 3.2%-3.4% and position cuts. The NU Board of Regents will consider a $1.1bn budget proposal, which includes investing in President Jeff Gold's priorities, expanding the Presidential Scholars Program, and allocating $15m for the Kristensen Rural Health Education Complex. Faculty and staff without unions will receive a 3% merit-based pay increase.
