The UN Security Council is set to vote on a British-drafted resolution demanding a halt to the siege of al-Fashir in Sudan's North Dafur region by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. El Consejo de Seguridad de la ONU votará una resolución redactada por Gran Bretaña que exige el fin del asedio de al-Fashir en la región sudanesa de Dafur del Norte por parte de las Fuerzas paramilitares de Apoyo Rápido. The draft resolution also calls for an immediate halt to fighting and de-escalation, as well as for the withdrawal of all fighters threatening civilians' safety and security. El proyecto de resolución también pide el cese inmediato de los combates y la reducción de las tensiones, así como la retirada de todos los combatientes que amenacen la seguridad de los civiles.
