UAE President grants pardons to 1,138 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha.

UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed has granted pardons to 1,138 prisoners ahead of Eid Al Adha, reducing or completely releasing their sentences. This practice aims to promote unity and forgiveness during special occasions, and offers prisoners a chance at a fresh start. The UAE also granted public and private sector employees a four-day holiday from June 15th to 18th for Arafah Day and Eid Al Adha.
