Thales, Spire Global, and ESSP have signed an MoU to develop a space-based air traffic surveillance service using over 100 satellites. The constellation collects ADS-B messages from aircraft and transmits real-time data for the ATM industry and aviation market. Spire is responsible for space segment, Thales for ground air traffic management system, and ESSP for service supervision infrastructure.
