South Africa's Media24 plans to close four print publications, including City Press, Rapport, Beeld, and Daily Sun, according to reports by Moneyweb. The newspapers are expected to close in October, with the only print publication to remain in circulation being Die Burger. Media24 CEO Ishmet Davidson stated that the company continues to review its operations to protect long-term sustainability in the transition to a digital media landscape.
