Sony's new PS5 system update 24.04-09.40.00 allows players to start or join Discord voice chat directly from their console, enhancing Discord integration. The update is rolling out gradually, starting with Japan and Asia, followed by Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, and the US. Users can select the Discord tab in Game Base within the PS5 Control Center and choose their preferred server or DM group to join.
