A man in his 20s was critically injured after being shot in the Gold Coast neighborhood, Chicago. The incident occurred at 12:55 a.m. on Thursday in the 1600 block of North Astor Street, as he was walking in the area. The man was shot in the thigh and buttocks and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition. Police are investigating the case, and no one is in custody.
