Tianjin's Jizhou district saw a tourism surge due to the 21st Huangya Pass Great Wall Marathon, with 3000 runners from 20 countries participating. Since 2018, over 300 boutique homestays have been established in the district, leading to 60,000 job opportunities and a revenue of 590 million yuan ($81.5 million) last year, up 81% year-on-year. The tourism sector has expanded across 100 villages in 20 townships, with plans for further growth.
