Red Hot Chili Peppers invited an animal services group backstage during their Albuquerque concert, where they performed for over 15,000 people. The band, known for their animal advocacy, wanted animals on site and thought of the animal services group. The group brought five long-stay shelter animals, along with staff, volunteers, and foster care providers, to meet the band before the show.
