Pamela Coke-Hamilton, ITC Executive Director, urges Africa and the Caribbean to explore a free trade agreement (FTA) at the 3rd African Caribbean Trade & Investment Forum in Nassau. A potential FTA could increase trade between the regions to $1bn by 2028, says Coke-Hamilton, emphasizing that addressing trade friction and investing in the right sectors is key. African exports to the Caribbean have decreased in the past decade, currently standing at less than 0.1%.
