Rajasthan Government plans to review the 17 new districts and three divisional headquarters created during the previous Congress regime. The BJP government has formed a cabinet sub-committee under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa for this purpose. The new districts were created by the previous Ashok Gehlot regime to increase administrative capacity and improve service delivery.
