Three prisoners awarded €7,500 each in damages after being injured in a prison transport van collision with a food delivery truck. Prisoners, handcuffed and without safety belts in small cells, sustained minor injuries during the accident while being transported from Mountjoy Prison to Dublin's Central Criminal Courts. The food delivery company, Lynas Food Services, accepted liability for the accident.
