Massachusetts issues 150-family eviction notices from overwhelmed shelter system in July.

Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey's office announced that the state's overwhelmed shelter system, housing migrant and homeless families, will start issuing eviction notices in early July. Around 150 families will receive a 90-day notice to leave the Emergency Assistance Family Shelter System, with potential for two 90-day extensions. The move aims to address capacity and financial strain on the shelter system.
