Judge orders Prospect Medical, owner of Rhode Island's Roger Williams and Our Lady of Fatima hospitals, to pay $17M in unpaid bills to vendors within 10 days. The Rhode Island Department of Health issued a Compliance Order in 2023 after an investigation revealed underfunding affected hospital operations. If Prospect fails to pay, Attorney General Peter Neronha's office will pursue further legal action.
