High Speed Rail Authority has awarded tenders for Sydney to Newcastle high-speed train network development, with a business case set for completion by 2024. The eight work packages include project controls, rail operations planning, and First Nations engagement. Over 300 industry members participated in the briefing, and the federal government has committed $500m for planning and corridor protection.
