A Gresham firefighter is critically injured after responding to a house fire, with burns covering 45% of his body. The firefighter, Spencer Tejedas, is in intensive care and has had three skin graft surgeries. The fire conditions deteriorated rapidly, resulting in a flashover where everything in the structure caught fire at once. Tejedas is in a critical condition with a long road to recovery ahead.
