Benue State to build 53 rural roads with €25M loan from European Investment Bank, part of a €150M project funded by World Bank.
Benue State RAAMP Coordinator, Stephen Numbeve, announced plans to build 53 rural roads spanning 500 km across the state's 23 LGAs with €25M loan from the European Investment Bank. The World Bank-funded project aims to improve rural access for farmers and ensure market availability. The roads are part of a €150M secured by six Nigerian states, with designs for 300 km already completed and disbursements expected in June.
