Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Mud Volcanoes Tourism Complex in the Absheron district. The 12-hectare complex includes an administrative building, a 110-seat restaurant, a Tourism Information Center with an exhibition hall and workshop, and a Nature History Exhibition Hall with 98 animal skeletons. The project has created over 60 jobs for locals in the region.
