Zimbabwean Esau Chiviya, former SADC PF Secretary-General (2009-2019), passed away in Namibia.
Zimbabwean Esau Chiviya, former Secretary-General of Southern African Development Community (SADC) Parliamentary Forum (SADC PF), passed away in Windhoek, Namibia. Serving from 2009-2019, Chiviya was remembered for his dedication and contributions to parliamentary democracy, including the development of Benchmarks for Democratic Legislatures in Southern Africa. SADC PF will repatriate his body to Zimbabwe for burial.
