Randolph County man Nathan Alan Yokum, 34, is in jail facing felony strangulation and wanton endangerment with a firearm charges. He allegedly strangled and pointed a shotgun at a woman over missing drugs. The victim claimed the dispute started over missing drugs and that she almost lost consciousness when Yokum was strangling her. Deputies observed injuries on the victim consistent with her account of the events.
