24-year-old Mariners pitcher Bryan Woo was scratched from his start against the White Sox, with the team awaiting MRI results on his right arm. Woo has been on a limited pitch count this year due to "arm stuff" and had previously missed the first month of the season with elbow inflammation. Veteran left-hander Jhonathan Diaz was called up from Triple-A Tacoma to replace Woo in the lineup.
