Tottenham Hotspur and Tanguy Ndombele mutually terminate contract, effective June 30.
Tottenham Hotspur and French midfielder Tanguy Ndombele have agreed to terminate his contract, effective from June 30. Ndombele joined Tottenham in 2019 for a club-record fee of £63m ($79m) from Lyon, but struggled with form and fitness throughout his time at the club. The mutual termination will free up substantial wages, allowing Tottenham to reinvest in their squad under manager Ange Postecoglou.
