From Messi, the reigning Palm Dog champion, to sniffer dogs ensuring security, this year's 77th edition has been dubbed the "Canine Film Festival." Messi, a border collie star from last year's Palme d'Or winner "Anatomy of a Fall," performed tricks on the famous steps of the Palais des Festivals.
