South Korea is investigating allegations that taxpayers funded former first lady Kim Jung-sook's 2018 trip to India. The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office is pursuing a complaint filed by a lawmaker from the ruling People Power Party, accusing Kim of abuse of power and public money. The investigation comes after Kim's husband, Moon Jae-in, shed light on the trip in his memoir published last month.
