Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer criticized the Conservative manifesto as a "Jeremy Corbyn-style manifesto" for having unfunded commitments and not explaining how to pay for them. He compared it to his own party's manifestos in 2017 and 2019, which he supported as a shadow minister, and accused the Tories of drawing up a document that would "load everything into the wheelbarrow" without providing funding.
