2 people in Vietnam's northern region have died from suspected meningococcal meningitis, with two other family members in critical condition. A 38-year-old male patient and his 11-year-old son were diagnosed with the disease, which is transmitted through the respiratory tract. The cause of death for the deceased has not yet been determined, but there is a high risk they were infected with meningococcal meningitis.
