Penn State University is restructuring its branch campuses, including New Kensington and Fayette, under a regional leadership model. This follows a voluntary separation program in which 383 employees, or about 21% of eligible staff, opted to leave, resulting in a 10% reduction in personnel. Penn State aims to address a $49 million deficit across Commonwealth Campuses by June 30, 2025, through this program.
