Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus and 13 others have been indicted in a Bangladesh court on charges of embezzlement in a case involving over $2 million. Yunus, who won the 2006 Nobel Peace Prize for his work in microcredit, pleaded not guilty and has been released on bail. The prosecution accuses Yunus and the others of embezzling funds from the workers' welfare fund of Grameen Telecom, which owns a significant stake in the country's largest mobile phone company, Grameenphone.
