Netflix has dropped plans for a live-action Power Rangers TV series reboot, with Hasbro seeking a new partner to take the show in a different creative direction. The series, in development since 2020, was set to feature a connected universe of Power Rangers movies and TV shows. Hasbro maintains a relationship with Netflix, releasing the special "Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Once and Always" in 2021.
