In Co. Mayo, Ireland, two men in their 20s were arrested after a warranted search led to the seizure of €120,000 worth of MDMA and an additional 0.5 kg of suspected MDMA worth €30,000. The operation involved the Garda National Drugs & Organised Crime Bureau, the Mayo/Roscommon/Longford Drugs Unit, and Revenue's Customs Service. The detained individuals are being held under the 1996 Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, and the confiscated drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis.
