2 men accused of damaging £622K Sycamore Gap tree and £1K of Hadrian's Wall to appear in Newcastle Crown Court.

2 men, Daniel Graham (38) and Adam Carruthers (31), accused of causing £622,191 in damages to a famous Sycamore Gap tree and £1,144 to Hadrian's Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will appear in Newcastle Crown Court. The tree, a popular attraction, and the wall belong to the National Trust. Graham pleaded not guilty, while Carruthers entered no plea at Newcastle Magistrates' Court. The case was sent to Newcastle Crown Court due to its seriousness, and both defendants were granted unconditional bail before their next appearance.
