Lindblad Expeditions acquires two purpose-built Galápagos expedition vessels from Celebrity Cruises, expanding its fleet to four vessels and becoming one of the largest players in Galápagos cruises. The 48-guest Celebrity Xpedition and the 16-guest Celebrity Xploration will undergo multi-million dollar refurbishments and new names will be announced later. Both ships are expected to join the Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic fleet in early 2025.
