1 killed, 1 arrested after fight in Lawrence, Kansas; suspect faces first-degree murder charge.
One person was killed and another arrested following a fight on the east side of Lawrence, Kansas. Police were called to the scene at 10:33pm after witnesses saw two men in a physical altercation. A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder, and despite rescue efforts, the 43-year-old victim could not be revived. The investigation is ongoing.
