John Lewis Partnership appeals to Ealing Council for a decision on a 428-home development above its West Ealing Waitrose store.

John Lewis Partnership will appeal to Ealing Council over plans for a 428-home development above its Waitrose store in West Ealing. The local council has failed to make a decision on the proposal within the statutory 13-week period. The retailer, which owns the supermarket chain, submitted the build-to-rent plan almost a year ago and aims to start work on the site next year, with completion expected in 2029. The development will include 83 affordable rental homes.
