Ghana's NDC Minority Caucus in Parliament boycotts sessions due to Forson's court attendance conflict.

Ghana's NDC Minority Caucus in Parliament has decided to boycott sessions when their leader, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, is required to attend court for an ongoing ambulance trial. The decision follows High Court Judge, Justice Afia Serwah Asare-Botwe, refusing to grant a request for leave of absence for Forson to attend important parliamentary business. The caucus accuses the judge of trying to impede Forson's ability to fulfill his constitutional responsibilities as an MP.
