Former Australian rugby league player Jarryd Hayne has had his rape convictions overturned on appeal. The New South Wales Court of Criminal Appeal ruled that a judge erred in not allowing the complainant to be further cross-examined during Hayne's trial. As a result, Hayne will be released from custody and prosecutors will determine whether he should face a fourth trial.
