Former APC National Vice Chairman (North-West) Salihu Lukman has resigned from the party, citing "lack of internal democracy" and President Bola Tinubu's failure to allow reforms within the party. Lukman declared his membership useless and stated he will work with committed Nigerians to support the survival of democracy in the country. He expressed confidence in strong democracy with functional political parties being achievable in Nigeria.
