FedEx plans to cut up to 2,000 jobs across Europe, targeting back-office and commercial teams, to reduce costs. The job reductions, subject to consultations, are expected to save between $125M and $175M annually, starting from 2026-27, but will cost between $250M and $375M in redundancy payments and related expenses. This follows a previous plan to save $4B in costs by the end of 2024-2025.
