7 dead dogs found in a U-Haul truck in Las Vegas, police arrested owner; investigation ongoing. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD) discovered the dogs, both small and large breeds, in the 3100 block of N. Tenaya Way near Cheyenne Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. The Animal Cruelty Section is leading the investigation. The case occurs during an excessive heat warning in Las Vegas Valley.
