Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Vattenfall have been awarded IJmuiden Ver Beta, a 2 GW offshore wind farm in the Netherlands. The project will include a 50 MW floating offshore solar farm and a new electrolyzer at the Port of Rotterdam to generate green hydrogen. The two companies have strong records in developing, constructing, and operating offshore wind projects globally. The wind farm is expected to be commissioned in 2029.
