The Cellular Operators' Association of India (COAI) has shared key priorities for the telecom industry, including allocating 6 GHz band spectrum for 5G network expansion and implementing a fair share data network usage policy. COAI also requests an increase in the number of test labs to expedite telecom network rollout. According to COAI, India can save $10 billion annually in 5G network deployment by using 6 GHz spectrum.
