Claycomo firefighter injured by debris, hospitalized after responding to mobile home fire; Kansas City Fire Department assists in extinguishing, no other injuries reported, cause under investigation.
A Claycomo firefighter was injured by falling debris and taken to the hospital as a precaution after responding to a mobile home fire on Tuesday. Kansas City Fire Department assisted Claycomo Fire Department in extinguishing the heavy fire at 1260 NE 69 Highway. No other injuries were reported and searches of the mobile home came back all clear. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
