Bombay High Court denies bail for PFI members accused of conspiring to transform India into an Islamic nation by 2047.

The Bombay High Court denied bail for three alleged Popular Front of India (PFI) members accused of conspiring to transform India into an Islamic nation by 2047 and overawing the government by criminal means. The court cited prima facie evidence against the accused, who allegedly participated in spreading hatred against the state and promoting an anti-national agenda. The Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad lodged a case against the suspects under the Indian Penal Code and Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, accusing them of engaging in activities detrimental to the nation's integrity.
