BC Ferries' Spirit of British Columbia is out of service for 5 days for stern-tube seal and bow-thruster blade seal repairs, expected to resume service on June 11. The Coastal Renaissance serves as a relief vessel on the Swartz Bay-Tsawwassen route during the repair period, preventing potential disruptions during peak season. The Spirit, built in 1993 and converted to LNG in 2018, can carry 2,100 passengers and crew, as well as 358 cars.
