Animal Rising activists defaced King Charles III's portrait in London's Philip Mould Gallery, replacing his image with a "Wallace and Gromit" character, as part of a campaign targeting farm animal welfare.

Animal rights activists from the group Animal Rising defaced a portrait of King Charles III in London's Philip Mould Gallery, replacing his image with a cartoon character from the "Wallace and Gromit" series. The group targeted the portrait as part of a campaign to highlight their investigation alleging animal husbandry rule violations on farms approved by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The painting, by Jonathan Yeo, was not damaged as it was protected by a sheet of plastic.
