The Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin city centre was evacuated after a fire broke out on its fifth floor. Emergency services, including six fire engines, responded to the incident at St Stephen's Green. The fire was reported at 10:38am and under control by 11:30am. Staff and guests were evacuated from the hotel, which was founded in 1824 and is a prominent landmark in Dublin. Traffic restrictions were lifted after firefighting operations ended.
