The AFP urges the UK government to extend company car BiK tax tables to 2029-30 and recommends a 1% annual increase in BiK tax on electric company cars.
The Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) urges the UK government to extend company car Benefit-in-Kind (BiK) tax tables, currently running until 2027/28. The demand is to settle the tables at least until the 2029-30 tax year, providing clarity for fleet purchases. AFP also recommends a 1% annual increase in BiK tax on electric company cars and zero BiK tax on electric vans to support their adoption.
